Corset Size:
- Front: 11 inches long and a 10-inch busk.
- Princess Seam: 9.5 inches (5 inches above the waist and 4.5 inches below the waist).
- Side Seam: 11 inches.
- Center Back: 13.5 inches.
Corset includes impressive springs:
- Rib Spring: 8.5 inches, for extra space for the ribs.
- Upper Hip Spring: 14 inches, for a comfortable fit of the upper hips.
- Lower Hip Spring: 16 inches that give a very great shape to lower hips.
Construction and Boning:
- The blue brocade underbust corset is provided with 26 spiral steel stays in construction. This provides flexibility and comfort but excellent waist reduction and support. The smaller sizes from 18″ up to 20″ are provided with 20 spiral steel bones. Moreover, there are 6 spring steel stays that reinforce the grommets and the busk to make it strong and better structured.
- A flexible steel busk of ½ inch in width is great for a secure front closure and ease of wear with a seamless finish at the end.
There are three layers in the corset:
- The two inner layers of the baby blue corset are made of cotton twill. These are stronger and more durable materials used to form the inner layers of the corset.
- The outer layer of the underbust corset is synthetic brocade interwoven with antique gold thread to give the corset a rich and elegant look. This middle layer, laminated on the outside fabric, provides additional strength and gives a smooth, flattering finish.
Additional Features:
- Waist tape provides an additional support near the waistline to ensure that the gemini corset does not shift out of place during wear.
- Corset has a corresponding front modesty placket beneath the busk to provide more coverage and to look neat.
- 6 garter loops allow flexibility in picking stockings or garters to go with it.
This longline brocade corset is laced using a single-faced satin blue ribbon complement for a refined finishing touch.
